Sir,

With reference to your letter of the 30th
ultimo, No.42892/1903, I am commanded by My Lords Commis-
sioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for the infor-
mation of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that
they have no objection to Captain L.Barnes-Lawrence R.N.,
continuing to receive his Retired Pay whilst employed
under the Colonial Office as Harbour Master at Hong-Kong.

The Treasury will be informed in due course, as
required by Rule 2, Section 6 of the Superannuation Act,
1887.
